The positions are full-time, 5 days a week, Monday-Saturday ,with extended hours in peak season, based at our Millhouse and Home Store.

SALES ASSOCIATE 


ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of our sales team, you will provide a seamless service, grow your customer base whilst maintaining relationships with our existing and longstanding customers.

Working alongside our Store Sales Manager, you will put your skills to work by ensuring our customer service and shopping experience is excellent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Acting as a brand ambassador in all interactions with Customers and Team Members.
• Providing a warm, welcoming, inspiring shopping experience.
• Actively prospecting new customers.
• Providing relevant product knowledge with recommendations, and advice to customers.
• Contributing to Store sales goals through providing quotations, networking, up selling and closing sales.
• Assisting in receipt of shipments and stock transfers; ensure the sales floor is adequately stocked to the company standard.
• Upkeep cleanliness of the store including store floor, stock area, and register area.

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILL SET

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a retail
environment.
• Mathematical and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail..
• Highly Organized.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Great customer service.
• Computer savvy.

STORE MANAGER 


ABOUT THE ROLE

As an integral part of our team, you will be in charge of the performance of the store, leading, and motivating the sales team by utilizing their strengths and skillsets in the most effective way possible. You will be responsible for upholding a positive environment for team and customers alike. The role is very hands-on and you will work alongside Warehouse and Inventory Admin, putting your skillset to work, ensuring that all processes on the sales floor are efficient, thereby maximizing sales and the customer service experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Acting as a key contact between the company and its existing and potential customers, always demonstrating excellent customer service.
  • Working with management to develop sales strategies to raise our customer pool, expanding store traffic and optimize profitability.
  • Meeting sales targets.
  • Leading, coaching and motivating the sales team .
  • Overseeing, supporting and delegating daily store duties.
  • Handling customer queries and complaints.
  • Resolving store related problems, inclusive of POS & maintenance.
  • Being knowledgeable about products and new arrivals keeping team and customers informed.
  • Being responsible for receipt of shipments and stock transfers; ensure the sales floor is adequately stocked to the company standard.
  • Overseeing the “look and feel” of the store by supporting the merchandising process including the daily physical upkeep of store and merchandise displays.

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILL SET

  • Associate degree, certificate in Supervisory Management or related discipline. Bachelor’s degree in Business or relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Supervisory or management position with experience in a sales driven environment.
  • Computer Savvy. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge and experience with Point-of-sale systems and inventory control.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Analytical skills – ability to analyze situations and be solutions oriented.
  • Leadership/forward looking – ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets, is credible, an example for others to follow and principled in approach. Delegates appropriately.
  • Continuous improvement – has a focus on and a track record of effective implementation.
  • Interpersonal skills – personable with the ability to build rapport with internal and external customers/stakeholders, can inspire and mitigate conflict; a proven relationship-builder.

WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT 


ABOUT THE ROLE

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for assisting with the movement of inventory in warehouse and store.
The role is very practical and extremely hands-on, You will work alongside Inventory clerk and store staff  putting your skillset to work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Assist with the receipt of all incoming and outgoing shipments
and deliveries.
• Offloading containers.
• Heavy lifting and furniture handling.
• Unpacking and tagging/labelling inventory.
• Assembling furniture and products.
• Light furniture repairs.
• Performing quality checks of incoming and outgoing inventory.Examines items for defects, wear or damage, and reports this information.
• Daily physical upkeep and cleaning of warehouse.
• Picking orders and assisting in the restocking of the store..
• Installing and moving items when store is remerchandising. As part of our sales team, you will provide a seamless service, helping our existing and longstanding customers.

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILL SET

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a warehouse or retail
environment.
• Mathematical and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy in picking and packing.
• Highly Organized.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Physical strength and stamina.
• Being a fixit.
