The positions are full-time, Monday-Saturday, 9 am-5 pm, with extended hours in peak season, based at our Millhouse and Home Store and Headquarters.

SALES ASSOCIATE

ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of our sales team, you will provide a seamless service, grow your customer base whilst maintaining relationships with our existing and longstanding customers.

Working alongside our Store Sales Manager, you will put your skills to work by ensuring our customer service and shopping experience is excellent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Acting as a brand ambassador in all interactions with Customers and Team members.
  • Providing a warm, welcoming, inspiring shopping experience.
  • Actively prospecting new customers.
  • Providing relevant product knowledge with recommendations, and advice to customers.
  • Contributing to Store sales goals through providing quotations, networking, up selling and closing sales.
  • Assisting in receipt of shipments and stock transfers; ensure the sales floor is adequately stocked to the company standard.
  • Upkeep cleanliness of the store including store floor, stock area, and register area.

EXPERIENCE

  • A secondary school education with a minimum of 5 CXC’s including English language and mathematics.
  • Computer savvy.

STORE SALES MANAGER

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an integral part of our team, you will be monitoring the financial performance of the store, leading, and motivating the sales team by utilizing their strengths and skillsets in the most effective way possible. You will be responsible for upholding a positive environment for team and customers alike. The role is very hands-on and you will work alongside Warehouse Manager and Inventory Admin, putting your skillset to work, ensuring that all processes on the sales floor are efficient, thereby maximizing sales and the customer service experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Acting as a key contact between the company and its existing and potential customers, always demonstrating excellent customer service.
  • Working with management to develop sales strategies to raise our customer pool, expanding store traffic and optimize profitability.
  • Meeting sales targets.
  • Leading, coaching and motivating the sales team .
  • Overseeing, supporting and delegating daily store duties.
  • Handling customer queries and complaints.
  • Resolving store related problems, inclusive of POS & maintenance.
  • Being knowledgeable about products and new arrivals keeping team and customers informed.
  • Being responsible for receipt of shipments and stock transfers; ensure the sales floor is adequately stocked to the company standard.
  • Overseeing the “look and feel” of the store by supporting the merchandising process including the daily physical upkeep of store and merchandise displays.

EXPERIENCE

  • Associate degree, certificate in Supervisory Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Supervisory or management position.
  • Computer Savvy. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge and experience with Point-of-sale systems and inventory control.

BONUS

WAREHOUSE MANAGER

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an integral part of our logistics and inventory team, you will be responsible for all incoming and outgoing items in our warehouse. You will be leading and motivating the warehouse team by utilizing their strengths and skillsets in the most effective way possible. The role is very practical, extremely hands-on, flexible, and analytical. You will work alongside Inventory Admin and Store sales manager putting your skillset to work, ensuring that all processes in the warehouse are efficient, and safe ensuring accuracy of stock levels, maximizing sales and the customer service experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Acting as a key contact between the company and its existing and potential customers, always demonstrating excellent customer service.
  • Being responsible for receipt of all incoming and outgoing shipments and deliveries.
  • Offloading containers.
  • Stock transfers: working with the Store sales manager ensuring the store is adequately stocked to the company standard.
  • Ensuring our warehouse inventory system is always accurate and up to date.
  • Stocktaking.
  • Safeguarding and organization of inventory and warehouse equipment.
  • Daily physical upkeep and cleaning of warehouse.
  • Overseeing, supporting and delegating daily warehouse duties.
  • Handling customer queries and complaints as it relates to warehouse and deliveries.
  • Resolving warehouse related problems, inclusive of POS & maintenance.
  • Work with subcontractors.

EXPERIENCE

  • Associate degree, certificate in Supervisory Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Supervisory or management position.
  • Experience in the logistics, warehouse, or inventory field.
  • Computer Savvy. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge and experience with Point-of-sale systems and inventory control.

  • Being a fixit.
  • Own transportation
