We are looking for dynamic candidates, with a strong sense of personal style who create a first-rate customer experience through superior sales and service and who are available to work at both our locations, full time hours including weekends and extended hours during peak periods.

SALES ASSOCIATE

Key Accountabilities:

  • Acts as brand ambassador in all interactions with Customers, Team members, Trade partners and Vendors.
  • Creates a warm, welcoming, inspiring customer experience.
  • Provides relevant product recommendations, product knowledge and design advice.
  • Contributes to Store sales goals through providing quotations, networking, upselling and closing sales.
  • Assists in receipt of shipments, transfers, as well as merchandising; ensure selling floor is adequately presented and stocked to company standard.

Essential Skill Requirements:

  • Proven ability to deliver excellence in customer service standard and ability to demonstrate best practices
  • Proven ability to sell, utilizing product knowledge, brand inspiration and design/decor
  • Ability to process information and merchandise through computer system and Point of Sale system.
  • Ability to upkeep cleanliness of the store including store floor, stock area, and register area.
  • Ability to be active (standing, walking, reaching and lifting, climb ladders) for extended periods of time throughout the workday.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of retail or relevant customer service and sales experience.
  • Microsoft Windows proficiency, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

 

TEAM LEAD

The Team Lead will be responsible for creating a positive environment for team members and customers alike. He/she will lead and motivate the sales team, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards and providing the guidance to help them reach their sales potential.

The Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring that all processes on the sales floor are efficient, thereby maximizing sales and the customer service experience.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Acts as brand ambassador in all interactions with Customers, Team members, Trade partners and Vendors.
  • Creates a warm, welcoming, inspiring customer experience.
  • Provides relevant product recommendations, product knowledge and design advice.
  • Contribute to Store sales goals through providing quotations, networking, up selling and closing sales.
  • Assists in receipt of shipments, transfers, as well as merchandising; ensure selling floor is adequately presented and stocked to company standard.
  • Leads, coaches and motivates the sales associates with a focus on building a cohesive and productive team.
  • Facilitates and delivers new and refresher training to sales associates to improve selling skills, product knowledge and ultimately achieve business goals, utilizing in-house training resources.
  • Ensures that the store meets visual, replenishment, cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Supervises the daily opening and closing of registers ensuring accuracy of the reconciliation and deposit processes.
  • Resolves Point of Sale (POS) related problems and issues, ensuring that sales transactions are effected quickly and accurately.

Essential Skill Requirements:

  • Proven ability to deliver excellence in customer service and ability to demonstrate best practices.
  • Proven ability to sell, utilizing product knowledge, brand inspiration and design/decor.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to process information and merchandise through computer system and POS system.
  • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
  • Ability to be active (standing, walking, reaching and lifting, climb ladders) for extended periods of time throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days and extended hours during peak season to oversee store operations.
  • Be a self-starter.
  • Microsoft Windows proficiency, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Qualifications:

  • An Associate degree, certificate in Supervisory Management or related discipline.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the effective supervision of a team and a track record in customer service.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability through personal actions and examples.
